Danfoss SNP2NN gear pump is a robust, fixed-displacement hydraulic gear pump engineered for industrial and mobile applications. Featuring a pressure-balanced design for maximum efficiency, it delivers continuous pressure up to 250 bar (3625 psi) and speeds up to 4,000 rpm. Available in 9 displacements from 3.9 to 25.2 cc/rev, it supports SAE, DIN, and European standard flanges/shafts, with a compact, lightweight build and quiet operation. Optional integral relief valve and multi-pump configurations with SNP1NN/SNP3NN enhance versatility.
Danfoss high performance SNP2NN gear pumps are fixed displacement pumps which consist of the pump housing, drive gear, driven gear, DU bushings, rear cover and front flange, shaft seal and inner/ outerl seals, as shown in the following image. The pressure balanced design of the pumps provides high efficiency for the entire series. The SNP2NN gear pump accommodates SAE 9-tooth and the SKP2NN is a special version of the SNP2NN. It is designed to accommodate an SAE 11T 16/32 DP tooth splined shaft for higher torque applications.

An external gear pump is a positive-displacement hydraulic pump that uses two externally meshing gears to deliver stable hydraulic flow.
External gear pumps are widely used in construction machinery, agricultural equipment, industrial hydraulic systems, material handling, and mobile hydraulics.
Most external gear pumps operate at rated pressures up to 200–250 bar, with higher peak pressure depending on design and materials.
External gear pumps are available in a wide range of displacements, typically from 1 cc/rev to over 100 cc/rev, depending on series and configuration.
Typical operating speed ranges from 500 to 3000 RPM, depending on load conditions, oil viscosity, and pump design.
Yes. External gear pumps can be customized in terms of displacement, pressure rating, shaft type, mounting flange, port size, and rotation direction.
Many external gear pumps are designed to be dimensionally interchangeable with major OEM brands such as Rexroth, Danfoss, Eaton, and Parker.
Common materials include aluminum alloy housings for lightweight applications and cast iron housings for higher pressure and heavy-duty use.
External gear pumps are compatible with mineral hydraulic oils, HLP/HV oils, and other standard industrial hydraulic fluids.
Selection depends on pressure rating, displacement, speed range, application requirements, and installation dimensions. Contact our engineers for technical support.
